Performance Enhancements

Performance Enhancements in Sports
Performance enhancements have been around since the ancient
Greek times. These drugs are used by athletes all over the
world in almost every sport. It is a very common occurrence
with American athletes. Some of the worlds most famous
athletes have been caught using some type of performance
enhancements or drugs. Some of these athletes include Lance
Armstrong, Roger Clemens, Barry Bonds, Mark McGwire and many
more. The MLB has had numerous occasions of players being
caught using performance enhancements. Over 100 hundred MLB
players have been caught using PED’s. Some of those who
has broken records such as home runs have been caught using
performance enhancing drugs, which include Barry Bonds, Mark
McGwire. The consequences for testing positive for steroids in
the MLB are, first offense is a 80 game suspension, the second
offense is a 162 game suspension, and the third offense is a
lifetime ban in the MLB. I personally do not agree with those
suspensions. I think that if you get caught using performance
enhancers they should be banned automatically even if they
only did it once, also they should be stripped of any record
they have broken while on the enhancements. It is not fair to
the players who have set records and play the game naturally.

This is a good piece of writing. You present your thoughts in a well-laid out manner and end with your opinion.

I like the article. The only suggestion I have is you not mention Barry Bonds or Mark McGwire in the first series of names, because you mention them again soon thereafter. By the way, I agree with your opinion on the PEDs.
