Toddler Dies After Grandmother Runs Him Over With A Lawnmower
By: klaws
This article stated a case of involuntary man slotter. The case
took place in Florida on Friday, November 4, 2011, where a
grandmother contacted police stating she had ran her 19 month
old grandson over with her lawn mower. She explained to police
that her grandson was riding in a cart behind the lawnmower
and somehow fell into the path of it and she ran him over.
Police have said that they don’t know how the 19 month
old boy fell into the path of the lawnmower but they are doing
further investigations to find out. The grandmother claims
that she didn’t have enough time to stop the lawnmower
when her grandson fell underneath of it. The 19 month old boy
was severely injured and rushed to Parrish Medical Center
where he later died.
Police have not released the name of the young boy or the name
of his grandmother. The article stated that no criminal
charges have been filed yet and further investigations
continue. This was just tragic and I hope police find out what
the cause of this incident was.
This article is connected to Maryland court of appeals.
Maryland court of appeals deals with cases of importance, like
murder cases. This article explained the complications in
police finding out the cause of the boys injuries and if this
case was taken to court it would get sent to MD Appeals.
My opinion on this article is that the grandmother ran over her
grandson on purpose. I think if something had happened to the
point where the grandson fell into the path of the lawnmower
the grandmother would of had plenty of time to stop the
lawnmower before it ran the boy over. I think further
investigations will prove my point and the grandmother will be
found guilty in court.

I think this article is well written, but I don't know why the case is in Maryland if it happened in Florida. You don't really make this clear.
