The paranormal has always been an interest of mine but my
experience's at my friend Crystals house got me more
intrigued. Crystals house is an old slave house in Dunkirk
Maryland. Still to this day down in the basement there are
shackles hanging on the wall that move. Almost every-time I go
over her house something strange happens. One evening one of
our friends brought over a camera, as soon as he turned on his
camera he pointed it across the room and the clarity was
blurry but when he pointed it again the clarity went back to
normal. The next experience I had at her house was when
crystal and I were sitting outside her house talking and when
I turned my head I saw the swing on the playground swinging
but nobody was on it and nobody has been for a while. After
that happened I stayed inside until I left her house. Another
encounter was when we all were sitting in her room when the
security alarm kept beeping. I went over there many times and
never noticed the alarm. So I looked at her and she informed
me that it does not work but it does go off occasionally. Not
only that went on, Crystal has a two year old daughter that
wakes up in the middle of the night playing with an imaginary
friend named bobby. Now her daughter sleeps in her bed with
her every-night. Every once in a while we will go ghost
hunting in or around her house just for fun. One night she
took me to a very old grave sight that is not to far behind
her house. There were about 5 different grave stones one being
dug up. Along with the gravestones there was a creepy old
stone table broken in half with writing on it that was in a
different language. She kept telling me " don't touch it
because it has something to do with witchcraft" but I
didn't listen. Then the little boy that came with us took
a picture of me standing next to it and in that picture there
was a creepy little girl standing right behind me. I was never
so scared in my life. I was surprised when a few times that I
went to her house after that nothing happened. But Crystal let
me listen to some videos and voices she had caught on her own
camera. Those voices answered almost every question she had
asked. Then a most recent time I went over to her house she
was telling me about how a ghost has taken the form of her
boyfriend. She said she seen him walk into the bathroom and
not a few minutes later he walked up from downstairs and said
he was their the whole time. Then the little boy that lives
with them also said he saw him in the kitchen. She hasn't
told me anything else that's going on in the house so I
am assuming nothing i have not heard or seen already is going
on. Anyhow, the paranormal has always intrigued me. It is
something that just happens that can not be explained. Before
Crystals house I never experienced the paranormal for myself I
just watched it on television. But when I started seeing and
hearing things for myself it made we want to know more. It
gave me an adrenaline rush like I have never felt before.
Since then every-time I go to her house I always do more
investigations. I now want to go to different known haunted
places like old asylums, hospitals, and houses. If I had
enough time I would spend most of it checking out those
places. I would want to get many of my friends and spend the
night in a haunted facility just to see what would happen. one
of my friends actually got to send their investigation
findings to ghost hunters that are on television. I love
watching ghost hunters because they show themselves actually
investigating a haunted location. Most of the other ghost
shows I can tell are fake and just for show. Some of the
places they investigate are really haunted and others are not
that active. Sometimes they debunk some of the activity that
the owners say is going on with logical reasoning. One thing I
don't not like is dolls and clowns. If I see either one I
will leave in a heart beat because they scare me the most. I
used to be scared of the dark but I got over that. I used to
sleep in my parents room because I was to scared to sleep in
my own room alone. So one day I would love to do some
investigating of my own to catch my own information.
