I am a high-school Spanish/Creative Writing teacher; and work part-time as a translator and clerical secretary at a children's health clinic.

My students and I write together, critique together, compare notes, etc. Much of their material is better than my own, so we all learn together, too. I've been published in the school publication; and also in several of the local free papers. Mostly I write Young Adult material, about growing up and overcoming poverty and ignorance.
