I'm a mother, and a grandmother. I stay at home most of the time, and love it this way. I like to be the center heart of my family, to be there for them when they all come home from work or school, maybe have some cookies baking in the oven.

I like to invent short mysteries. My characters are all kind of quirky, people you wouldn't expect to find in standard mystery novels: common folk, cab drivers, teachers, housewives, plumbers. Once I wrote an entire mystery involving a row of pay-booth operators along a busy highway. Just normal people. And I don't write about murder. My mysteries involve strange coincidence, anonymous deeds, etc.

I knit, and quilt, and sew, and bake things. I am a happy home-maker. Maybe not an expert, but I try.
